They weren't mate. They aren't on the DVD copy I have, but they were on my sons copy. I think it's a special edition ,ate. Not too special if you ask me.

Aye I think I need to re watch the Wanderers then. I did enjoy it don't get me wrong, I love the soundtrack. A bit Bronx Tale like with all the 50s Doo-Wop and that. Right up my street music wise.

Loved both Warriors and Wanderers films .......... The latter introduced me to Karen Allen, for which I'm grateful.

Watched the warriors for the first time after reading this thread.
Entertaining enough but storyline basic to say the least.
    * was the guy Cyrus talking about at the start? and why did the rogues have it in for the warriors?

My favourite all time movie that. A Bronx Tale, I'm exactly the same. * classic.

cyrus was talking about taking over the city using the "street suckers" but did get his arithmetic wrong in his speach. the rogues didn't have it in for the warriors, it was random, cleon just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time and the gang could be identified by his vest. at the end the rogue admits, "no reason, i just like doing things like that"

Just watched this, great film- just realised it was made by the director of Southern Comfort, another classic.

Another great film there which is over looked because of Deliverance, which is great.. filmed ten years apart but same redneck hillbilly storyline.

Oh aye the Warriors.. I dig it.

Missed this thread first time round.
The Warriors, what a film. As a kid it I remember seeing the video box cover in the local rental store and thinking it was just the coolest. Eventually getting to see it when I was 13/14, I was babysitting and it was on late night TV. Thought it was the most amazing film.
Funnily enough, I remember very shortly after my dad telling me a film called Southern Comfort was on late on channel 4 and I should watch it, I was babysitting for the neighbours that night. Another classic. Two of my top 10 films of all time. Walter Hill made some gems.

I think this thread is worthy of a bump lads.

40 years ago this Friday that The Warriors hit our screens in the UK. (10th May 1979).

Not seen it in a few years so I'm definitely sticking it on this weekend.
