Now that was fun. Winning the league considering the * show that was last summers transfer window fiasco to the rat bailing and how many players we have had out with injury or just flat out looking exhausted after playing so many games for 3 seasons now is impressive. Doing it in style with that second half performance was brilliant to watch.

 

That ball in for the 1st from mcgregor was something else ,Andy * talker jizzing his pants about a cross from McKenna didn't even give it a mention

 

Some folks think he’s done, but my * he runs his guts out for us!

Mika truly gets this club. It really shows with moments like today, emphatically pointing to #5 during his celebrations with Jozo against Killie last week, his pitch celebrations in general, and whenever he plays against Sevco... Love him!

 

While I whiskey up, and apologies if this has already been asked, but when was the last time Celtic scored from a corner in the league?

I can only recall Boyata's header against Brechin City in the Scottish Cup (20/01/18)...
And Moussa's strike against PSG in the CL (23/11/17).

So thrilled with the performance today - celebrating now!!!

He truly is someone who has fully bought into what Celtic is during his time here. Personally I think he has been in good form of late so I would be very happy to see him stay for another year. We need to find a long term replacement to take over at right back and there is no doubt about that but I have loved Lustig in the hoops and yesterday what a header that was brilliant.

 

A massive thanks and congratulation to Celtic for winning their eighth championship in a row . We can now relax in the league , and give ourselves the best chance of winning the Scottish cup . If that means playing a weakened line up , then so be it . It would be a great achievement to secure that elusive TRIPLE TREBLE !!! !!! !!!
I remember the last time Celtic won their eighth successive title . I'm proud to say I was there in the flesh ( thanks Dad ) to witness the seventh ( Bay View ) , ninth ( Brockville ) and the eighth was at a packed Easter Road . I won't bore you with my trivial personal memories , apart from this one ; We stopped after the game for a fish supper at South Queensferry . We ate it by a beach/sandy bay . People had written in the sand , various band names from the time . I recall a large " Slade " scrawled in the wet sand . 46 years ago !
