    Net or Gross spend?

I think Ntcham will be likely to move on for anything between £6-8 million. It would be an absolute pisstake if we didn't give that plus another £10 million minimum to the new manager coming in.

Even with those funds we'd need to do shrewd business to kick on properly.

As it stands we need RB, LB, CB, CB, LW. If Ntcham and Sinclair go they'll also need replaced.

I don't think it's unreasonable to expect a net spend of £15 million+ given the cash we're sitting on and windfalls from other areas such as Pro14 final and the VVD sell-on fee which we haven't yet seen being invested back in.

This summer is huge (aren't they all?) but if we invest wisely then we will be in a strong position to cement 10 in a row and beyond. No excuses from the board. Get the right man in and back him to the hilt.

As 1 or 2 said, KT looks * so Melling would easily play 20 games plus next season if we signed him.

We need Atleast one right back depending on wether Ralston/Lustig good enough to be back up which they probably will be to save money. Two centre backs and a backup leftback. A player to take Ntchams place a left winger and a number 10. So let’s say 6 players. Probably end up spending about 6 mill and the rest will be loan signings.

Melling wouldn’t technically be backup if he was signed we play about 60 games a season and * knows what condition KT will be in so he could easily play about 30 games next season which would only be half

I’m changing my vote to £10m-£15m just due to the fact we need players for key first team positions.

Needs to be a good window in the summer . Last stretch for the ten . I’d be disappointed if we don’t freshen the squad

It’s hard to know until there’s a permanent manager in place. But aye hopefully we bring in at least 3 quality proven players

Its like groundhog day in here lol.

All this chat about 15m walking out the door on "key areas".

This board have zero interest or intent on spending 15m.

If player a costs 5m and player b costs 4m they'd go out and try to get player c for 2m of player d on loan.

The only reason we splashed out on eddy was because he had already proven a shrewd investment. Like * they will splash.

If you watch them its obvious theyre tracking sevcos transfers to see what size investment will be needed to hold them at arms length.

We see the CL as a comp we SHOULD BE AND NEED TO BE in.

They see it as a "bonus".

But apparently "there is no stockpile of cash. Its a fantasy".

10-15M and give the squad the overhaul that’s needed, having Griff and Bayo back in will be a big boost then Shved and Morgan coming in as well as Arzani & Eboue fit again.

Add another quality winger, then 2 full backs and 2 centre backs. Promote McInroy, Henderson, Aitchison, Ralston.

Outs- All loan players, Lustig, Gamboa, Izzy, Boyata, Compper, Allan, Sinclair, Dorus, Hendry, Mulumbu.

I hope and think we might be in for a pleasant surprise this coming window. There are many factors why we might spend more this window than previous windows gone by. We will have to back our new man to build the team he wants, we took a decent amount of compo when the snake left, we took decent money for dembele and Armstrong too. I think the most important factor though is PL will know more about the new CL format than any of us. If its true we will be given automatic group status then it makes sense for us to ramp up the spending for a number of reasons.

Need between £15-£20 million investment, with defence being a massive priority.

Exactly this. The board don't share our vision for the way forward. While we're sitting here thinking "this is it, it's time to make statement, push the boat out" etc. They're thinking "everything's right on track, our early projections for the financial year have proven correct. We'll press on in the same manner"

There's no football plan here. Just a business one. Buy low sell high, supplement with loans, and rely on our opposition being *.

    I expect 5-10 million at a push.

What we need is a different story, for me it’s 15 million.

Again Net spend will end up being zero once again, cause I expect us to sell someone or someone like Ntcham May hand in a transfer request cause it looks like he can’t be arsed being there.

Think we will spend big on either a RB or a CB then two or three loans and bosmans.
We don't need that much we have Shved and Bayo coming in and Griff will be back. Just need that defence sorted. A CB of real quality and a top class RB would do me.

I think you are going to be in for an unpleasant surprise if you expect a pleasant surprise regarding our transfers.

I expect £0-5m. It'll go something like 1 CB for a couple of million, Lustig to get a year extension, then Griff, Bayo and Shved to be paraded like new signings with a couple of loans in. Ntcham to be sold, Lyon will sell Dembele to Man U, we'll get the sell on fee and then sell them Edouard on the last day of the transfer window as well. "Try" to sign Weah, fail, ask for another year loan but fail at to get that through at the last minute as well. I don't think that will be too far off the mark going by recent transfer windows.

He'll be too expensive to be sitting on the bench for over half the season.

A new RB is a must. Would love to see us taking a punt on Jonas Svensson at AZ. He's an athlete, very pacy and strong in challenges. One of the better defenders not playing for one of the top clubs in Eredivisie imo.

There's also that young LB at Bodø/Glimt, Fredrik Bjørkan. They've had a flying start to the season and he's been instrumental. Could be a little kneejerk with him, he's not proven himself in Eliteserien over a longer period of time, but he looks like he got some potential to develop into a fine player. And he would be relatively cheap.
