100% agree there. He’s copying Rodgers tactics and it’s not his game. Last week was the first time I’ve seen his sort of stamp on a game.... This week, back to aping Brendan’s. I understand the reasoning behind it but he needs to quicken up putting his stamp on it.

    KLOPP

I'm not sure if any or many of you got to hear Klopp talk after the Cardiff match. He was pitch side on Sky with the matchday team talking football. I'll keep this simple, this guy talks football! I am in utter awe of this mans outlook and understanding of the game and much more than that, his happiness to divulge his philosophy so candidly.

I really wish we had a manager like this man. No disrespect to Lennon, but he doesn't show the same level of game intelligence as a manager. If you managed to see Klopps interview, which was the type of interview you don't normally get the chance to see, it was a moment with Klopp - he wasn't cliche or stereotypical in that situation, he was fresh, honest and interesting.

I hope we look for someone like this.

Depends on who the candidates are for me.

If the board can attract a higher calibre manager to the club then I’d prefer that option but if it’s between the likes of Lennon, Keane, O’Neill etc then I’d pick Lennon.

Personally, I would rather a young Alex Ferguson if we’re fantasising.

All I’ll blame him for is starting Izzy, but even then we should be playing a lot better than that, it’s down to the team in my opinion we are still trying to play the same football as we did under Rodgers.

You are absolutely right, he is done an exemplary job to steady the ship but that's probably as far as it goes, need to build again for the next few seasons. Neil Lennon has the thunder but doesn't perhaps have the tactical nuance to take us to that extra level.

I agree. But there are no realistic options out there who will. Unless we take a chance on an up and comer who could be the next Jurgen Klopp. In the meantime I look at the job Lennon has done and I say- will he take us to the ten? Do we need someone who knows the league and knows the support. These next 2 seasons are absolutely huge in the history of our club and Scottish football. I would love Benitez or Villas Boas or Martinez but they are not realistic. So we are left with Moyes, Michael O'Neil, Steve Clatke esque figures who honestly I don't see any different to Lennon. And Lennon has a 6 month head start on them. I want the ten. No chances taken. People think Lennon is a risk but he has won leagues with us before- he started the ten. He knows the club inside out. He lives and breathes the place. He is unbeaten since he came back. One win from the treble put in grave jeporady by the snake. I would give him a couple of years. Maybe 3 at most. Then after the ten we can take a chance ir maybe some other manager will be available.

I understand WGS did, but like I said MON got 9 points a dodgy hand ball decision in Turin cost us a point.

We should have gone through nearly every team with 9 points does, like WGS teams and Lennon as well.

For me personally I would say getting to the uefa cup final is a bigger achievement than getting through the group stage twice.

I never thought in my lifetime I would see Celtic in a European final.

That for me makes MoN more successful in Europe, again it’s only my opinion and would be interesting to make a poll regarding it.

The winning margin of the league will bear significance.

The long and short of it is that Rodgers left us with an 8 point margin. As of today that margin is 9 points. We shouldn’t be reduced to only being a point better than the Huns over this period, for me.

Some people that’s posts on here think that.

We have been dire, I’ve voiced this several time even when the snake was here.

We will stumble and win the league and the rebuild will happen this summer, make or break the 10.

The ball is in Lawwells court, does he go with the cheap option, Lennon?

Or push the boat out like he did with a Rodgers type of appointment?

My money is on the cheap one cause Lawwell is a *.

How ? So playing all the teams we were 8 points clear( and lost 4 games). We are now 9 clear and unbeaten under Lennon. How can you seriously bring up those stats and say we haven't made progress. That literally makes no sense.

I know, it still doesn’t change the fact that WGS twice got further in the premier European competition than MON did.

Lennon is auditioning for the job and has shown that he is only one point off Rangers. What doesn’t make sense? We have been * poor performance-wise and have dropped points in a short space of time since he has been at the helm. What have you seen that has given you so much confidence that he could actually initiate a 9 point lead over the Huns next season, for example?

Also how do you conclude that we have made progress since Lennon has come in?

I think for a bit of perspective, the Sheep are actually closer to the Huns than the Huns are to us.. and they’ve zero chance of catching them.
