Ffs you're ruthless A donkey with the mind of a dressage, Lenny must've noticed that in training and thought I must give this guy a game against a diddy team to see if he can produce in the heat of battle.

I wouldn't mind seeing him given the confidence to have a go every game, all we need to do is make sure we cover for him and Ajer because how brilliant would it be if our CBs are capable of sensing and exploiting space like that?

To be fair, it was the bounce on the dreadful artificial pitch which is about as close to the 21st Century as a solar panelled calculator that caught Efe by surprise and every other world class defender couldn't predict the bounce of that ball.

Lenny should never have played him against Juve but the fact that he did should give everyone a clue of what folk thought of his ability.

 

Big man was solid again.

2 very good games in a row, unusual.

 

Again thought he played well, maybe could've done better with Bain having to make that 1v1 save but from my memory Izaguirre was more at fault for being miles off the first player who put the ball in.

 

Him and ajer were great today. I like his runs going forward.

 

Two very good games on the spin. Keep it up.

 

I think he's a liability waiting to happen and doesn't have the heart for it here but...

He's played really well defensively and going forward composed out from the back..

We should keep this pairing as it's crucial in to the summer at least..

 

Think injuries have stalled his development,hopefully can stay injury free and improve as he has some really good qualities to become a very good cb.

 

Looks a very good balance with the two of them back there.

 

Very good the last two games. Always been a player in there for me, just hampered constantly by injury and question marks over his concentration and desire at times.

 

They do seem to compliment each other quite well just now I must admit..

2 big boy's which is what you want. 6'3 and 6'6 I think..

Just want to see Simunovic be stronger in the air and with his body as Ajer has developed in to..

Definitely been more composed and impressed me coming out with the ball from the back..

 

Plus he finally has a coach that understands the art of defending (sorry, Ronny, still love you but it's true).

Looks like a new player beside Ajer instead of Boyata. Too injury prone to rely on.
