    I prefer to remember VVD and
    Kelvin Wilson some folk didn’t take to Wilson but I thought he was decent also Matthews although he played on the flank although sill a defender so it shows Lennon is capable of finding decent defenders , Victor was also a central defender I believe when first brought here and was developed into a midfielder (could be wrong) . All I’m saying is his track record is pretty good , BR could not find a defender in the MOD

    I'm pretty sure Wanyama was a midfielder and we played him in defence initially for whatever reason before putting him back in his proper position.

    Well, if he's in good shape, he's worth the money for sure.
    But his performance is not really steady. I think, at least one more year at a comparatively small club like Sturm would be good for his progress and development.

    For what it's worth, I went to the Mexico/Canada game last night. It's one game (and not the most stellar opposition), but this guy looked like a boss--good touch, great poise, and confident. I'm shocked he's only 21 y/o; I'd put money on him being the captain of his national team at some point in his career. Mexico used him as a defensive mid.

    Also saw a guy wearing a Scott Brown Celtic strip at the game. That made my night.
