Continental Treble Winners

Came across this while looking up treble winners and thought I’d share it.

This list includes clubs who have won their country's top-tier league and the primary cup competition, in addition to the major continental tournament, all within a single season. This was first achieved in 1967 by Celtic, winning the Scottish Football League, Scottish Cup and European Cup.

In total, seven European clubs have achieved the feat since 1967. Spanish club Barcelona is the only club to have won this treble twice.

As usual we were the ones leading the way

I was aware of all of the teams bar the PSV one, don’t know much about that team.

Eto'o did it two years on the bounce, fair play.

 

That Mourinho Inter team is so underrated, nobody ever talks about them.

Maicon was also unreal that season.

 

Aye used to love him. Lucio and Samuel were some pairing. No messing with that pair either.

Then Zanetti and Cambiasso with a young Sneijder in front of them. Too good.

Ajax, Barcelona, Porto and Manchester City all in with a shout of joining this elite group this season.
