No, massive backwards step from Rodgers, simple as that.

Massive no vote so far, kinda surprised at that tbh then again the footballs been pretty dire so far. I've not made up my mind yet, I was 50/50 but that has slipped tbh. The biggest plus for Lenny seems to be he is seen as a safe pair of hands but I'm not sure if he is and that's a problem.

I think whoever we get will be a backward step.

Moyes, O’Neill, Keane, Lennon and Clarke are the only realistic managers from the list of candidates imo. All of them are quite old school.

AVB is a more modern-day manager and is probably the majority of fans pick at the moment but I’m not sure he’ll be interested.

Absolutely not, the football is depressing, Huns game aside and even then we let 10 men get back to level terms and made things really difficult when we should have been more dominant.

Ronny was originally to be Lennys number 2, until Lenny left/chucked it leaving the board with little/no time to do much other than promote Ronny. I do wonder how that plan would have panned out had Lenny not left.

Based on how we're playing at the moment-no.

Win every game to the end of the season and pump the Huns at Ibrox -yes.

I love the guy but he is not the man to take the club to the next level on the pitch.

If there was to be another poll then it should have at least been left to after the semi final on Sunday. Will we have another after that as people change their opinions? Maybe another then after the hun game?

The decision needs to be made at the end of the season and at least give the man chance having called him in at such short notice. This in my eyes the most logical of choices is not an option.

Maybe we should have another poll "Are you willing to give Lenny until the end of the season to prove his worth". That poll would be more telling than one where some may change their opinion from game to game.

An emphatic yes from me......after everything he's been subjected to just because of his roots and involvement with our team, I'd love him to see out the pursuit of 10IAR......that would *' kill that mob if he managed it:

    Hail, Hail Neil Francis Lennon.

....oh by the way, I was also in full support of Tony Mowbray getting the job so what do I know ???? :43::39:

Maybe he got wind of Ronny's suggestion/plan to do that and thought "* this i'm out" :giggle1:

Makes you wonder how his players with such a bad diet can keep going to the end and score so many late goals. I'm away now to get the chip pan.

If he stays then people will say all the Scottish boys will stay, McGregor, tierney and Forrest even if the rat comes in for them which he will.

However they may not want to stay for another manager * knows.

You get £60m for those 3 pistol Pete will find it hard to turn down in the event of reduced income from Europe if we don’t make UCL again as Bankier has said that £38m in the bank will not be spent!

I voted aye as I don’t know any other options currently. My mind may change if someone else comes in for the job

At least try and get someone on par, Lennon seems a typical choice for the Celtic board, cheap and cheerful. Lots of decent managers would love to manage Celtic for £2.5m a year, you just have to be ambitious and look for them.

Why is it that when someone says "simple question", you can guarantee it's far from a simple question.

I'm going to vote "yes" as the least bad description in the poll of what I think; however for what it's worth, my real answer is that, legend or not, he has to earn it like anyone else who isn't Pep or similar, but that I genuinely don't see any reason why he can't earn it.

Having said that, talk of 2 seasons or even 2 windows to prove himself is mental, with 10iar on the line, no one gets that long. He has till the end of the season: deliver a treble and maintain our comfortable lead while starting to play better football and putting his own stamp on the team more successfully than the other day and it's his IMO. I have faith in him to do that.

If he doesn't, then I thank him for stepping in and securing the 8, but we move on and look elsewhere.

The players will still be in the same routine they were under Brendan at the moment, so not sure the late goals this season can be attributed to the Lenny diet :giggle1:

Yeah I’d like to think our board would be looking at a few more options other than the generic names listed on Paddy Power.

AVB would be my pick but can’t see it.
