That Depeche Mode when we score!!
Right this Saturday it is once again Grand National Day which actually falls on my late Dad’s birthday, very fitting as he used to be a top Horse Tipster.
Well I am going for ‘One For Arthur’ which is around 25/1.

Trying to read the form on a race like the National, is just a mind * in itself.

"Joe Farrell" has been tipped up on ATR website and has been backed in from 33's into 12/1 in some places but you can still get 20/1, that's good enough for me to have bet on it.

I'll be sticking an EW bet on that just now, and maybe do another EW bet on the day.

Gluck everyone, if your having a go tomorrow!

I've backed every horse using the bet 365 offer. ( see thread in the betting section.)

I'm unlucky, usually the horse I pick ends up with a wee green windbreaker around it then a bullet to it's nut.
Will do the works sweep if I remember.

The National is one of the few races that is not yet pre-determined so you'd be as well throw a few darts at the list of runners to pick a winner. Hopefully all the horses surviving would be my main wish.

My mum always comes home with a smile on her face as once a year she goes down to local Paddy Power the day before the race puts £3 bets on two or 3 of the most stupid horses that have next to no chance of winning and every time she is certain she will win.

It’s the jumps that determine the winner, can you jump?

I won with One for Arthur back then. It’s my mum’s maiden name. Backed it again because I can’t not.

Some top class gold cup level horses entering these days so you'd wanna stay near the top of the market in my opinion.

I'm on Joe Farrell and Vintage Clouds. Tiger Roll is going to take some beating if he gets around though. That horse is something else.. wouldn't put anyone off backing him at 5/1.

Rock the kasbha. Always have good luck at the national. Never once had a tent and marksman around my horses :fear:
