Game would have been ideal for Bayo as well. Aitchison should be in and around the first team for games like this, looks like his link up play has improved dramatically in the last few months.

Get Nchamp off for Christie. He is the most frustrating player we have. He picks the games he can be arsed playing in. Far too casual tonight, his penalty sums up that attitude. You cannot have a midfield player than has that many poor passes in one game, loses tackles and shites out of many one to ones. Simo is a bobescare waiting to happen at the back tonight, Burkes first touch has been poor. I would swap Burke for Weah as he is more comfortable out wide.

Was never gonna be much of a spectacle with st mirren camped in their own half/penalty box.

Ntcham is more casual than a Sunday afternoon on the couch watching Netflix and eating maltesers.

Sorry but none of those seem like obvious or even wise changes to me. Put Brown further up the park? He's not really comfortable in advanced areas whereas McGregor is far more comfortable carrying it from a deeper position as well as up the park, while also being able to hit any type of pass.

Forrest through the middle hasn't ever really worked and it would be insane to keep trying it in my opinion. I mean, this is probably the worst squad in the country we are up against right now so it may be okay for this match but definitely not going forward. Burke is certainly best suited out on the wing but I think that just means Eddy should be a straight swap for him at striker.

I absolutely would not bring on Rogic again as he seemed weeks away from being back to his best, but I could see the merit in bringing on Christie and getting him touches and some of his fitness back.

Ntcham is an absolute Nshambles - how this guy can honestly manage to play so well one week, and so utterly pathetic the next against worse opposition is beyond me.

McGregor's ball retention and passing is beyond sublime. Such a silky wee player, honestly wouldn't think he's Scottish.

And speaking of Scottish players, Burke has the touch of an *. Decent desire and plenty of heart, but * me man, guy shouldn't be a fitba player at this level, nevermind the most expensive Scottish fitba player of all time...

seen a lot of that from celtic away from home this season when teams sit back deep and allow us possession we just end up playing really slowly

Slightly uninspiring half very poor penalty and move Burke out wide and Weah inside can see why Lennon is looking miffed too many passes not finding players in the box

Ntcham off for Christie soon hopefully. I'd switch Burke and Weah, play Weah through the middle and Burke wide.

we need to put these teams to the sword, 1-0 against st mirren reserves is pretty poor.

    Utterly frustrating to watch this.

Nctham is playing like a donut. Seen him missing that penalty from a mile off.

Even more concerning is burke. His first touch is like he has no ankles ffs.

This st mirren team are pure *. We should hammering the life out of them.

He trains all week no excuse not like he's doing a wonder goal it's a penalty. Another game we should be putting away if that pen goes in we're comfortable
