Would Ntcham be considered better as a holding midfielder?

Has some brilliant vision and passing but has had concerns regarding pace and can lose out to other midfielders in the squad

Think he is solid in the midfield and could provide a lot more in a holding role should brown retire and have a fully fit squad.

As good as calmac is I would prefer him attacking and creating goals than replacing browns role which is why I’m thinking Ntcham.

Obviously a replacement would be lined and things may change under Lennon.

Don't think he'll still be around when Brown retires tbh

Ntcham is better suited up the pitch, he makes defence cutting passes and has a good shot, also looked good taking the ball in with his back to goal and turning.

We played our best football in the last year and a bit with McGregor sitting mid, he makes the team tick so much better and quicker plus reads the game better than most in the team. Don’t need him up the pitch when you’ve got Christie and Rogic ahead to score and create.

    Great Assesment

With the goals Calmac has provided my concern would be losing that in a more centre role.

    See your point though.

I'm wanting him back in and around the side. Still really rate him.

He should have a point to prove.

As good as Brown has mine he still doesn't have to play every game. Would like a midfield of McGregor sitting with Ntcham and Rogic ahead. Or Christie.

Only sometimes. Generally his shooting has been quite poor.

    Agreed.

If I sat in the Lisbon Lions/Jock Stein stand I'd want face insurance included in my season book for as long as Ntcham is on set pieces.

    Is he actually injured?
I just get this feeling he'll be gone, along with Edouard, in the summer.

Hopefully ready at least for a run out off the bench if not a start on Sunday.
