I know what you are saying but the rat came out and said he was fit to play which put the spotlight entirely on him.

Would he want to work for a manager that put all the blame on him?

I’m not taking Boyata’s side at all in this btw just trying to look at it from Boyata’s point of view if the rat does want him.

 

Mind you, if Brendan Rodgers told me today was Sunday I would be checking the newspapers....

 

He’s totally away and will flounder at a higher level week in week out. Has the odd good game.

 

Rodgers helped him to a 3rd place finish in the world cup and their relationship seemed fine from the outside.. and most of all likes him as a player and would probably make him a regular at a mid table EPL club. It probably ticks all the boxes for Boyata.

 

I hope he is happy at Leicester .
It is a step backwards in my opinion but what do I know .

 

Tell you what I’d be curious about if the Leicester link is true, keeping in mind the way the squad reacted to Boyata and the fact he denys he refused to play but was genuinely injured, if he did indeed refuse to play... why in the * would Brendan Rodgers want to bring a player like that to his new club?

 

Has he signed a pre contract or is this more msm disruption?

They’ll need more than one. Maguire will be off in the summer and Morgan is ancient. Pretty much leaves them with Evans. Saying that... Brendan doesn’t acknowledge that defenders exist.

May be true but where’s the logic in that? It you emphatically know somebody isn’t to be trusted and you definitely can’t trust him not to pull out of the team at anytime. Why would you want him there?

Nah Leicester has that Turkish kid Caglar Soyuncu who has loads of potential and will probably break into the first team soon.

Yeah more than likely he'll still only sign one in the summer because, as you say, he doesn't acknowledge defending as a vital component of the sport.

He has a £200m budget apparently, surely he could sign better quality than those 3 with that amount of cash.

 

Not so sure. Morelos alone would take up half the budget...
