In general, he isn’t ‘as prone’ as he was last night. Outwith that he’s been excellent. He’s also getting fully up to speed after being injured for 4 months odd straight.

He’s a young guy and he’s doing a mans job. Let the guy develop.

Same with Edouard when it comes to that.

Thought he handled the physical battle well and can't blame him for the goal. Going to be an important player in the years to come.

He needs an experienced stable CB partner that can talk him through games until he gains the experience himself. He's a young guy, converted from another position and it's clear at times he isn't sure what to do. An older head beside him that can give him advice at those times would go a huge way to improving his game. Boyata certainly isn't doing it.

I know this but even before his injury you could see it. With regards to eddie, he's a class above yes he has dips in form like every striker but he shows the talent he has and when it counts. I'm looking forward to how Lennon develops these players and the defence especially

Anyone reckon lennon will try and revert him to his original midfield holding position?
    Definitely has all the attributes.

I doubt it, mate. We’ll have two competent defenders come the summer: Ajer and Tierney.

I don’t think he’d be against moving him there when need be.

I don't think he's comfortable enough in tight spaces to be a midfielder at any decent level. He's really quick when he gets going with the ball but hes not sharp enough on the turn or at closing down to be a Celtic midfielder. He can be a very good defender though

Loving this new found aggression by him, something that Lenny will definitely tune into him as it's the only thing missing from his game except experience.

He was caught out with a couple of errors against Hearts that should stand him in good stead going forward. He seems to be a quick learner.

KA: “It’s been a good week. The gaffer’s come in and spoken to the squad about the way forward.”

KA: “The win at Easter Road was a tough game. A big achievement.”

KA: on player safety “Too many times this season a line has been crossed. Scottish fans are the best in the world but a few are destroying the whole picture. Bottle and coin throwing is completely unacceptable.”

KA: “The new gaffer has been really good in getting to know the whole squad. It’s important that we know exactly how the Manager wants us to play.”

KA: “I’m taking things one day at a time and hoping to continue to perform. You dream of playing for a massive club and to wear the Celtic badge and play on Celtic Park is really special.”

He's no VVD, but with regular game time and hopefully continued progress he's gonna grow into a * fine CB overtime * is still only 20.

Virgil was 22 when he came here to be fair and in 2 years Ajer is going to be a monester of centre back, hope we can hold onto him for a good while. Priority should be to get a quality experienced centre back to play in next to him next season.

I don't see that happening especially given how much we will need to bring in at center back with Benkovic's loan over and Boyata all but certain to leave on a free. So moving Ajer on top of that I just do not see it at all. We have plenty in midfield anyway even more so now with the return of Biton as another option there.
