Fair enough. I'd like to know. Because I've given him pelters. Called him all sorts of names and never looked at him the same since.
I have no issue with someone wanting away, its happened before and it will happen again. I do have issue if Brendan lied about the injury and conned me into a false hatred of a person who didn't deserve it. That's why I'd like to know.

If he lied about Danny McGrain, a man (legend) who had no impact on his day to day role I can absolutely believe he would lie and chuck someone under the bus to protect himself.

Fair enough. If I’m right in thinking Boyata’s agent did say what I think he said, then Boyata is still a bawbag.

If he did lie about Boyata, I suppose we'll never know unless someone impartial speaks up.

My gut feeling now is I owe Boyata an apology because I was brutal toward him.

Him running into the box was absolutely vital to us scoring

Was lucky not to be sent off after another lapse in concentration. He is a disaster area. Every time he gets the ball I need a diazepam.

He’s good as an emergency striker. Rosenborg, Killie and again tonight he’s affected the outcome by just making a run in the opposition box.

He's been a big part of the Brendan story. I loved this era and Dedryck has been a good player for us. However, a new story will begin and its out the door he goes.
We need somebody who doesn't make as many mistakes.

His agent said the summer went and their was no call about improving the offer no communication at all...... If the rumors are tru that Rodgers was expecting on leaving at end of last season to arsenal then that would back that up.... Look at this way since when where celtic ever under prepared like they were that window.... They lost brendan and quickly got lenny..they sold forster got Gordon they sold vvd got a cb sold hooper got Griffiths.... It was so out of character in the summer br was planning on leaving hence why their was no extensive list of scouted player and unrealistic targets that lawell had to get a loan and two freebies then after br outbursts celtic knew he was for off at end of season hence the loans.... Sved and bayou were bought for the new manager

Cheers, I did mean to type that!

I would start him up front, at least I wouldn't be as nervous every time he touches the ball.

I’m not a huge fan of his - although on his day he can be great, he has a mistake in him far too often.

What I would say though is that I no longer believe a word that Brendan Rodgers ever said, therefore I’m willing to give Boyata the benefit of the doubt about the debacle last summer.

His reactions to Brown’s goal at Rugby Park, Motherwell’s goal on Sunday and Edouard’s goal tonight were all that of a guy who wants to win for this team.
