Agree with everything you say there. Obviously would rather we buy him permanently in the summer but if we only got Burke back in on say a season long loan then I would be ok with that as well. He is under contract with WBA till the summer of 2022 I think so it might be hard for us to buy Burke outright if WBA demand they want to recoup the 15m they paid for him or close to that. If they only asked abut half that it would still be an expensive deal by our standards but one worth it IMHO. But given the money WBA paid out to get Burke and that he still has 3 years left on the deal he signed with them I would be surprised though if they were willing to let him go for say around 8m.

That pass for Forrest’s goal was unreal.

There’s a * great player in there somewhere.

Think he’s perfectly suited to playing wide of a front three. Tore Hearts to shreds at times tonight. Terrific.

Either him off the right with Eddy in the middle or else Eddy off the left with Burke through the middle on Saturday please.

    Great awareness for the goal..

But, not ideal when teams sit, but looked a threat wide..

This guy's pace and power is unreal. Genuinely can't think of many other players even in the top clubs of Europe who run with such strength.

Was great play for the goal, most players would have tried to shoot and probably had it saved as the Keeper was right on it.

He would be an ideal development signing, but for the money involved he wouldn't be worth it. That's if we could get him.

Eddy left, burke right, griff or bayo through the middle.

    Once fit;

    ——ajer—boyata—benkovic
    Forrest—mcgregor—christie—tierney
    —burke———-bayo———-eddy——-

Could swap out bayo for griff once back, or have weah in there, scary pace.

That pace is unreal, so is his control mind you, but by * his pace.

However if we go 1 up, it has to be Ed and probably Weah or Bayo before him, would like to see him out wide.

Puts in some amount of work closing down opposition players as well, like Griff on steroids.

Like the rest of the loanees, looks as if he's up for it fight!

He’ll either go on and become a genuinely class player for someone or he’ll flop.

Has so much to add to his game but his physical attributes are special.

He’s like Paddy McCourt except approaching it from the opposite direction...
