I'm honestly shocked it doesn't make sense to leave now crazy decision and IMO has tarnished his legacy.

I still love Lennon and think he'll do well but he needs to keep up the modern fitness techniques implemented under Delia and Rodgers. He also needs to get the backing he never got in his first spell with a decent budget.

Although I'm not disappointed with Lenny I'm a bit surprised he wants back in the goldfish bowl of sectarian abuse, the huns will make his life a misery. I just hope he's up for the sheer abuse and scrutiny he'll be under going for 10 in a row.

I wouldn't have been disappointed with Steve Clarke either I like the way he cuts through the bs when talking and he's a good coach would have been a clear choice.

I think if Lenny can secure the treble treble and make 10 in a row it would be an amazing achievent. He is a great coach with tonnes of passion and no one can question his loyalty and commitment unlike brendan.

No matter how fractious it is with Lawwell he could have at least seen out the next 3 months. Instead, Rogers has sent a big GIFRUY - not to Lawwell, but to the fans.

I agree with totally the board are * and a huge part of the reason this has happened..

.. but they were 100% right on McGinn for * sake.

Rodgers will probably come out and say he left because they wouldn’t sanction £7m for McKenna ..

Leicester are definitely the worst for it, ever since they had what was essentially a miracle season they've had delusions of grandeur. They were always going back to the * end of the EPL after that season, if Rodgers had them sitting below 10th half way through next season he'll be booted.

That's patently false. His 3 top targets last summer went for £2.75m, £3m and £7m. We had £39 million in the bank (before bringing another £29m from the sales of Dembele, Armstrong & Erik) yet secured none of them.

Rodgers timing is awful but let's not downplay the board's hand in this. We are on the cusp of a Treble Treble not because of them but in spite of them. Their reluctance to invest at times of strength is ridiculous.

We need to rally and all pull in the one direction til the end of the season. At that point there should a long overdue thorough appraisal of the club, it's staff and their compatibility with ensuring Celtic can strive to be the best.

Still holding hope until it’s confirmed.

Timing is shocking if he goes.

He’s on silly money here. More than enough to take care of bills for the next couple of years.

If he was a Celtic fan there’s no way in * he’d be going anywhere just now. He’s got the chance to truly cement his name as a Celtic legend and do something no other Celtic manager had and it looks as though he’s about to throw all that away for mid table obscurity and a bit more money.

My main worry is he comes sniffing in about any of her squad.

I’m honestly gonna greet if Lennon comes back.

It’ll be caretaker and then they will just give him it if he sees the treble out, something that wouldn’t be that difficult at this stage.

Yes in terms of reputation support etc Celts are bigger but Leicester have more £ : Could it be Leicester is as good as it can get for Rodgers in England, no real top team would touch him and well he knows it.

It will be Lennon till at least the end of the season. I don't get all the stick Lennon is getting regarding the possibility of a return. He IS the best option till the end of the season.

People need to remember Rodgers is leaving us in a position where we need to fact fast.

Also, bad days when a treble, treble and possibility of 10 inna row is less luxurious than getting pumped by the top 8 EPL teams every weekend.

    Rodgers the Celtic fan.....nah.
