you can't sell Dembele for 20m and Armstrong for 8m then give him no money.more permanent transfers are needed regardless of fees.

If Lennon did come back I don't think the board would back Lenny any more than Rodgers. Lenny didn't seem that happy with the lack of transfer funds towards the end of his time either.

Those were the days of Pukki, Amido Balde, Efe Bombscare and Derk Never Fit

If Leicester are sending a helicopter to pick him up. See if there's room for Compper.

Nah lenny knew we was cutting back with rangers being gone and the fans would still want champions league etc. He'll get more now than then. He got £10m before, and transformed us. Give him 20 and watch

Mid table barge dwelling country bumpkins, why go there after Celtic, after Liverpool?

He’s managed two of the biggest names in world football and the likelihood is the Chelsea gig will be up for grabs soon too.

    I simply don’t get it?

All the work for the game would of been done already and just some tactical stuff today that Chris Davies will be in charge of.

Lennon was probably more * off at the constant rebuilding. When Lennon left im sure we had lost like Forster, Wilson, Wanyama, Ledley, Samaras and Hooper all within a year - he was never replacing them and probably couldn't be arsed starting another 2 year rebuilding job.

It would be a fresh start now with a lot of players already in place again like Ajer, Tierney, McGregor, Christie, Forrest, Rogic, Edouard.

Worst thing you could do to a club, really hard not to be bitter about it. Hope to * we dont go near Lenny for a permanent replacement.

The financial gap was a lot smaller back in the MON days, we were spending around the same as an average EPL club i.e clubs outwith the big four and it was the same for every big league around Europe. Now the situation is that we're out spent by clubs from Holland, Turkey, Portugal, even Austria, that in itself makes it harder.

I also believe Rodgers tactics in Europe for the most part have been all wrong and he's failed to adapt and employ more suitable tactics like other Celtic managers before him have. But regardless of that, Europe is still a far harder place to get results these days than it ever was.

I’m genuinely gobsmacked. Even had he stayed to the end of the season and won the treble treble he could have left with his head held high and in high regards. To leave now......
