that was the line Brendan should have used when he spoke to the ref/Lurch and told him to watch it again!!!

ps- the Latins have always been brilliant at buying these!!

    2 supposed fouls, 0 warnings, 2 cards.

Even if it was a foul a warning would have sufficed.

Sending off was harsh but seen a few folk think he's not good enough because he didn't put in a stormer before then.

For me he was kind of hung out to dry tonight with the system we played, concentrating on dulling their diamond. No chance he was having a good game no matter how many minutes he played. His job just had to be do what Lustig can't, stifle their left side with Broony/Forrest for some support.

Hayes played better, obviously.. but I also think he had a slightly easier task. More dynamic midfielders for support and an opposition right back who's actually a left back.

It is more than just tonight though. I don't think he has been great in any game. I said after Sunday he was running out of excuses and that second yellow is inexcusable.

His booking was a definite, but the 2nd one is harsh, it did look like an accidental collision but he shouldn't have put himself in that position anyway, tangled legs and crowd roaring for action.

Brendan even said he was out of position playing too centrally for the play during his interview.

Actually felt disappointed in him tbh, always passing back and at times when he could have pressed forward and put us in a good position ,caught out a few times as well , but it's early and he hasn't played much football .

I guess the times where our RB costs us games in Europe live on, Gamboa could've put in the same performances as him over the past couple of weeks.

There is a player in their, he wasn’t that good at the weekend, he is still needing time to settle in as well.

I think he will come good, but by that point he will be going back and we need to start from square one again getting a right back in.

That wasn't a foul but he was still caught on his heels.

Maybe this will mean Dortmund sell cheaper. I'd still definitely take him for £3-4m.

Still deserves time ( all 3 months of it :giggle1:) but he isnt looking too promising.

I think we were all expecting a pacey marauding full back and thats certainly not what were getting, whether thats down to br's tactics or not is up for debate but bottom line is hes certainly not making the impact fans thought he would.

A pacey marauding full back is exactly what he is and has shown. He's playing for Celtic no Barca, he'll need to defend sometimes.

Amount of times you see him up in the last third making 1-2’s, looking for a pass or coming more narrow looking for Jamesy or Burke running in behind. Are some people not seeing this?

Domestically teams sit so deep against us and remember Forrest is out wide in front of him, so it’s difficult for him to be getting to the byline every time.

Then in Europe, Valencia were pressing us so much that he had to be wary of what was happening behind him and we saw that last night, that’s what happens when he starts pushing up a bit.

Guys getting a hard time for nothing.
