He shouldn’t start when McGregor Christie and Rogic are all fit, but he’s still a good influence to have at the club.

    McGregor
    Rogic Christie

That's the way to go when they're all fit. Brown is still a good player but shouldn't be starting every game.

I’d probably drop him for the away leg & try to rekindle the partnership McGregor & Christie had in the middle. We are far quicker in our attacks & more direct imo. Not a dig at Broony I just think he slows our attacks down in Europe

The money he is on, he needs to be more than just a good influence at the club. He needs to be one of our key players. He is no longer that. In fact, on the evidence of this season, we are a better team when he's not playing.

Do you know what money he is on with his new contract?

That should have been done at half time imo with Burke behind Edouard.

I do not. I don't imagine he has taken a massive wage cut just to stay at the club though.

Then it would be massively out of character of Peter Lawwell not to reduce a wage at the end of the career.

I wouldn’t imagine he’d be on the same but you never know.

We were told he was back to his best after we beat the worst team in the SPFL though...

His legs have gone. Anytime he received the ball by the time he was trying to turn and look for a pass Valencia had pushed up 10 yards and he couldn’t do anything except panic and give the ball away.

People were going by him as if he wasn’t there.

Never understand why people are so fickle with him. Hysterical *, it’s pretty hilarious to see.

Agreed. A guy that has gave blood, sweat and tears for us. Over a decade of his playing career when he could have easily chased the quick buck down south. On the back of 3 arguably MOTM performances. He plays poor 1 game and 'fans' can't wait to stick the boot in.

The same people that would scream about a player being disloyal and leaving at the first whiff of another team, are the first ones to denounce a club legend as finished. Embarrassing.

Aye, and like I said one of our other players that is usually extremely reliable - Callum McGregor - wasn’t far off of him.

Thought he was okay tonight. Certainly not going to give McGregor a roasting after everything he's done for us this season. People need to channel their frustration in the right directions. Broony and McGregor should not be the targets.

He isn't immune to criticism though lads..

I did think he genuinely was spooked out there tonight..

Looked much more tired than he has in recent game's as well as it went on..

This is the problem. He's ageing and should be used wisely but we don't have much else in reserve just now. No Rogic or Ntcham and even Bitton wasn't on the bench..

He has shown he can still be a really good player but must be used more sparingly..
