If that happens serious questions have to be asked about Rodgers and why he would play Bain for what 7 games in a row then drop him :giggle1:

Zero chance of that happening mate.

I expect BR sees what we all do which a keeper who is finally fulfilling the role he wanted, a sweeper keeper who plays just off his defenders, getting the ball out quickly for counterattacks and finding space for breaks.

Gordon can do none of that, and when he tries he either plays the ball into the stands, to a defender under preasurre or plain just to the opposition.

The amount of preasurre he puts on our backline with his * antics is a joke. Bain looks like a footballer. Good tactical awareness and crisp passing. He created about 6 opportunities yesterday through is eye for a pass alone.

If Gordon starts it would be a * travesty. Let alone a massive tactical error.

    No chance

Think he had 32 passes with 29 completed. Over 90% pass rate would be good for a midfielder.

I do like Gordon, there is a marked difference in the passing but there will be tougher tests ahead.

I think Gordon was unlucky to be dropped but Bain has came in and done excellent, and can't be dropped now.

Aye, domestically a lot of the pressure we were under we brought on ourselves and it was a lot due to Gordon punting balls into the crowd trying to pass it to Lustig and Tierney under pressure. That was mostly how Hibs always caused us problems the last couple of seasons and the huns in that last game. They shut us down put us under pressure at the back and Gordonw was rattled panicking and then the whole team were unsettled as we couldn't get up the park.

With Bain we keep possession 9 times out of 10 and there is never any hint of pressure or panic at the back as he is very calm on the ball and will wait or play a quick pass to catch people out.

Thought he did well tonight. No chance with either goal, couple of good saves and bailed brown out. Not as easy for him with the ball at his feet tonight but it was never going to be.

Overall think he can be happy with how he done. If Gordon had been in that back 4 would have been even more of a mess than what it already was.

Made one bad one at the start but he was OK.

Didn’t continually give Valencia the ball back which is exactly what Gordon would have done and no chance with either goal.

Thought he done ok tonight, still not 100% sure if he's the answer but a few times where there was a few valencia players crowding him and he passed the ball calmly to a teammate, hard to properly judge since the whole team were *.

Going to put some of his passing errors today down to * movement. Hardly had a save to make though & could do nothing for the goals

He’ll always have his doubters seeing as he’s scottish, cost us * all and came from Dundee but I think he’s shown enough in the games he’s played that he can be trusted and has earned his shot to make the jersey his own for the next few years.

Xavi and Pirlo would have struggled to pick out a teammate at times tonight.

Still our number one by a long way.
