    Liverpool’s squad just isn’t good enough to win a league title. There is no doubt the starting 11 is more than good enough, but over 38 games there’s always going to be times that starting 11 can’t get the job done. Thats where the guys off the bench do the business. City have jesus, mahrez, same to bring on, Liverpool on the other hand lallana, shaquiri, origi, Sturridge. Just no comparison really.

    It cost them in the champions league final last season, and I’m fairly certain it’ll cost the the title this season too.

    City have to be clear favourites from here for me. They've already slipped up (excuse the pun) against Palace and Newcastle and Liverpool are only one result away from being back in second.

    It's crazy to think that less than a week ago Liverpool had the chance to go 7 points clear and really ramp up the pressure on City.

    Now they're 3 points ahead, with a lesser goal difference, and looking very much like they've shat the bed.

    These last 2 games they've looked nervous at the back, devoid of ideas up front, and unable to make possession advantage count.

    City, on the other hand, have bounced back quickly, and in style, and have both their title-winning experience and strength in depth to call upon.

    For me, it's now City's to lose.

    Fulham look pretty much gone. This has been shocking.

    So looks like 1 from Cardiff, Burnley,Southampton, Newcastle, Palace n Brighton to join them and Huddersfield.

    Which makes Brighton v Burnley and Southampton v Cardiff pretty big games today.
