    I think he is out of our price range but I don't think he'll get a look in at PSG. What these teams like Man City, PSG, Real Madrid, Barca, etc have in common is their impatience. With the financial power they have they don't wait to develop players but rather buy a ready made, world class player for that position. PSG won't wait to develop Weah, they'd just buy another M'bappe or Neymar. Same way Roberts will never feature for Man City, because when they need players they buy the best already in those positions. Pogba didn't even breakthrough at Man U and they bought him back years later for 100M. Same with Chelsea, let Salah, Lukaku, De Bruyne, good players slipping through the net because they were too impatient. Weah looks great but it takes a whole other level and a lot of luck to break through at some of these big teams.

    Weah had featured on the bench and had a couple games for them this season, they handed him a new contract before coming to us. They believe he can be a player for them.

    Burke is quite robust but not sure he is an out and out forward anyway, but he's a handful and has pace.
    thats the thing with rodgers forwards must have pace and movement, look at the forward players he's brought in
    Sinclair/Weah/Edouard/Dembele. all explosive players. and who knows what Bayo has.

    I mean he's only 18 , if he keeps performing here and staking a claim and scoring regular we might get again next season.
    but he's got the lot , Edouard came on initially and was excellent too see some of his touches. , good to see both together.

    we had to go to Ibrox with Johnston as our forward , no rogic or tierney , Mcgregor out of position and Edouard just on the bench.

    now look at the options we have hopefully by next home game.

    .......................Brown/Christie/Mcgregor/Ntcham/
    Forrest/Burke.....................Rogic......................Sinclair/Weah
    ...........................Edouard/Weah/Burke/Bayo.....................

    Tierney and Toljan down the wings.

    We will be doing brilliant if we can persuade PSG and Timo to extend for another season. Hopefully from there we can do a Paddy Roberts which is like a free player with no money at the end.

    The boy seems to absolutely love it here, can see him wanting to extend. And if he’s getting game time and developing as a player, I can see no logic in PSG not allowing it.

    In fact, I’m sure the main reason they wanted to get his contract extension sorted before the deal was so that we could extend another 12 months without him becoming a free agent by the end of it.
