Gone way too young. Love one of his last last Twitter posts... * cancer!

"Dear All, I am fine. Sent dopey * out. Was half asleep watching NHS cancer drama with Alison Steadman called Care. Was waking and tweeting. My brain is now as sharp as it will ever be. The Prime Minister is Clement Atlee."

He was a good friend to Ireland.

That's a real shame. I thought he was really funny. R.I.P. Jeremy

I regularly listen to BBC Radio 4 Comedy , where Jeremy Hardy was often heard . It's a real shame he's gone so young at just 57 . His bad , tone deaf singing will not be missed . But his comedy and his insightful comments certainly will . R.I.P. Jeremy Hardy .
