    Cromars in St Andrews.

Literally Googled ‘best chip shop in Scotland’ last year and drove up just to try it.

Not a big lover of fish but if they all tasted like the one from Cromars I’d eat a fish supper every night. Melted in the mouth and the batter was light and crispy. :35:

    Wasn’t dear either.

When I was younger we had a caravan in Anstruther and the chippy on the front used to be queued out daily.

Romy and family in bearsden is decent

Freshest tasting fish supper I have ever had is the fleetwood ferry cafe at the tram terminus caught and in the pan within 48 hours am sure!

Haven’t been to the St. Andrews one but will give it a bash at some point.

Best I’ve had was probably down Plymouth (The Barbican) .. Harbourside it was called.

Aye, that greedy, fat * Tam Cowan concurs with you. He reckons it's the best chippy in Scotland.
