I hate to criticise after he scored a few goals. But I’m still wanting him replaced and switched to back up

Brendan (finally!) seems to be encouraging fast balls into the six-yard box... and Scott appears to have been instructed to make the runs to get on the end of them / mop up any loose balls. We've all been begging for this to happen for ages - and guess what - it appears to result in goals!!! Who knew!!!??? Instruct any of our players to charge the box, and they will score goals - ANY player - it just so happens that SS has been given the role!

Sorry - his recent 'goal-spree' isn't fooling me. His open-play is still largely woeful - I'd back myself to tuck away most of the chances he's had recently... and those misses!

Anyway - it's not SS that rippn' ma knittin' right now - WHERE THE * ARE MY NEW DEFENDERS!!!!

    Peace! x

His end product is often poor; his positioning and movement make amends for that, but he is by no means a clinical finisher or passer.

Still doesn’t change the fact he has 5 goals in the last 3 games. One of the top scorers in our team, was top scorer last season and had over 20 goals his first season.

He does post the numbers. That’s not a comment on anything else in his game, it’s just a simple fact.

Look at his stats. Whether or not he’s wasteful with chances his conversion and assist rate for a winger is absolutely superb.

Fair play to him for not letting the penalty miss and sitter get to him and getting back in there for the 2 goals.

He needs to switch it up whilst on the wing though. It’s very frustrating watching him get the ball, stop completely, cut inside, and then pass it back.

Would be a better option than Burke upfront, whilst Edouard is out, with the amount of goals he’s scoring from inside the 6 yard box recently.

Fair play to him, really developed that poacher instinct recently. Funny that, used to always score screamers, now he's getting the numbers from tap-ins and rebounds.

Happy enough for him to get game time if he can stay amongst the goals, regardless of overall form.

We couldn't buy a winger that contributes as many goals and assists as Scot. Know idea why people want him gone. He's taking the blame for stuff like James Forrest used too... who's having a fantastic season but still hasn't got the numbers Scotts managed. Mental.

Seen he's saying he'll step up for the next penalty and score it. Hopefully that decision is taken out of his hands. That's 2 on the trot that he's missed.

I think if he changed that awful hairstyle I would be more sympathetic when he misses sitters or isn't playing well in general.

Against better opposition he wouldn't be afforded so many chances. The point is his end product is horrendous and can definitely be disputed.
