I don't think Tarantino produced it, although I could be wrong, but I don't think he was in a position to produce anything in his own name just yet. He definitely wrote it, (which is immediately evident), certainly one of his early screenplays - same as Natural Born Killers - that was sold, prior to the success of his first feature, Reservoir Dogs.

First response- Well this has Harvey Weinstein written all over it rape and mental mummy and daddy * sort of * what a full time mad * he was. Anyhow another excellent film choice, as Taz said when you see it for the first time your in for a treat its good *. Some real strong acting performances, Chris Slater and Pat Arquette are excellent as the leading loved up couple of spastics who are a pair of screw looses, Gary Oldman, Brad the * Pitt Dennis Hopper and Val Kilmar all play good roles as well but there isnt a weak performance in this its very good.

Structure- Two * have * one of them was a hocker for a mad * but she falls in love with * she has * with the lad goes to the guy who she worked for * * up steals loads of coke, the big big boss wants his coke back and inbetween all this the notorious P.I.G.S want a sniff of the action, not literally because taking coke is bad and theyre cops but they want a sniff of the action anyway, inbetween all that theres loads of violence and * up * including plenty of lines that very qouteble including a whole host of wondering dialogue when the mad druggy * tie up Slaters dad who happens to be a funny guy.

Characters- All good characters, Gary Oldman is in my top 3 fav actors and argubly the best actor on planet with Danny Day Dlewis because the * excels at literally any role you put in him and this time he's a half cast pimp with one eye and a * up accent but he's funny as *, Alabama and Clarence are two good characters and yer two cops at end who are like the chuckle brothers are superb and are known from Tarantinos films like Resovioir Cats.

Really good film i enjoyed it another strong 8/10

This film is a wee belter!!! It's always seems to be skipped by when people talk about good films. The performances are powerful, and its perfectly cast. And the wee backround tune works well. A cult classic, but Its a classic in my eyes.

Had never seen this before, and what a * great movie. Exciting story, nonstop action, no wonder it's a classic.

And can we get take a minute to appreciate Gary Oldman? What an incredible actor. It took me reading the IMDb page to realize he was Drexl. Absolutely perfect portrayal of his character.

Also, I have to mention, the plot of this is eerily similar to this legendary piece of department history at UNC. Truth is stranger than fiction :giggle1:

The whole "if I had to * a guy" scene is taken almost verbatim from his student film: My Best Friend's Birthday.
