Know what you are saying about Airdrie but he was the best professional and semi-professional football player on the park tonight.

 

There’s not been any time he’s spent on the pitch this season when he’s not impressed.

Don’t know how people can’t see the threat he poses, and the defensive shift, that he consistently produces everytime he plays.

He has the mentality. And that’s a very hard thing to find for us.

 

Ideal backup for our new quality RB we signed.. oh I mean ....will sign. ..Er.. think he'll be fine v Valencia..

He's rough around the edges, not technically great but I can't help but really like him. Type of boy who'd run through walls for his team.

 

I thought he did ok! He had some great runs late in the game first game in almost a month also

 

Same as before, he's passionate and gets stuck in. Offers more going forward than Lustig as well. I'm sure he'll be a decent back up domestically.

But he's not the answer in terms of the starting XI.

Mind you our custodians are doing their best to close the gap but for the time being Ralston is doing alright. Well deserving of motm today.

 

Board will be loving this, people buying into the idea that Ralston is a decent player and they don't have to invest. Lad should be out on loan getting game time in the spfl since he hasn't even played 10 games at the top level of Scotland yet. Calvin Miller getting called back is another stupid decision if Izaguirre doesn't leave during this transfer window.

 

Theres not a footballing brain there at all but in fairness to him he has shown what our right side going forward could be and much much more if we brought a quality right back in.

Thought his positioning was good. Similarly decent timed runs and was it not his cross field pass that set up one of the goals (first I think)?

One of the most common things for inexperienced players to be caught with in the final third is straying offside, but I'm fairly certain it was Ralston who put the cross in for Sinkys sitter, and when you watch the replay you can see him holding his line. Just a little thing maybe, but i thought it showed his game intelligence isn't bad either

 

Thought he was MOTM as well, 2 MOTM in a row in our last 2 home games.

Much prefer him to Lustig, can match guys for pace, likes to get tore in and he scores and creates chances all the time. He's only played like 10-12 games for us and he could have about 6 or 7 goals, seems to always get into the box and get shots away and it's some difference having someone overlapping down the right. Willing to run at players as well.

I actually quite like him. Confident player as well always willing to play long passes, forward passes and crosses and strikes everything with power.
