I think it is the loser of Japan v Uzbekistan. You would probably assume that would be Uzbekistan but looking at the two countries results so far I don't think that is a given. Though I doubt Japan would want to play Australia yet.

Hopefully Japan as they'd annihilate the Aussies..

Uzbekistan are supposed to be decent as well from that region..

Going by the Aussies form, either would probably knock them out..

The quicker the better as far as I'm concerned..

Uzbekistan have a three better GD so only need a draw to win the group and avoid Australia.

    Some strike.

Any particular reason why two of his teammates just turn around and walk back to their own half like the shot went wide? You’d think they’d celebrate a last minute winner.

You do realise Syria is ranked higher than Israel don't you? Who Scotland recent lost away to?

I mean, have Scotland played an away game further than about a 2 hour flight for the last decade?

You don't know the meaning of the word.

Looking into it, yes, you have. You played Peru, Mexico and the USA away in the last 6 years - resulting in 0-2, 0-1, 1-5 losses.

The only times you have played away in Asia, you got your * kicked by Japan 0-2 and 1-4 by Sth Korea.

The only meeting between Scotland and Australia in the last 20 years was a 2-0 win to Australia in Scotland at Hampden Park.

Playing in the * desert and away to Asian countries is far from easy.

Scotland don’t pretend we’re good and go on other forums to talk down other countries and players that play within them.

I think you misunderstand a lot of the Aussie posters that come to this site.

We love Rogic, although he doesn't replicate his Celtic form as consistently for Aus as he does at club level it's understandable considering the amount of time he spends with each setup in comparison. It's happened a lot with our players over the years, purely down to distances etc involving a lot of our games. Tim Cahill isn't the best ever player to play for Australia in terms of ability, but he regularly brought his top Everton form for Aus and is probably our best ever player from a national team performance perspective, if that makes sense.

I think quite a few on here got their back up when you signed Arzani on loan, as we were all saying he had the potential to be much better than Rogic, given where they were at the same age. Most people would still stand by that despite Daniels knee injury.

I enjoy Rogic performing for Celtic as much as anyone. We get our back up at the river of derogatory * flung our way though...

Haha brilliant, couldn't of got a better Tom Rogic performance last night and there are still aussies on social media slagging him off, you can't make it up. No one can tell me that their isn't at least 10% of the socceroos fan base that have a burning hatred against him, probably all due to him playing in Scotland rather than England. And that's him now scored more competitive goals for Australia than their hero Viduka has at the age of 26 playing in the midfield.

If Daniel Arzani is gonna be better than Rogic, then Man City won't be able to hold onto him.

But I'm afraid to say he won't.

There's only 1 Aussie wizard and he wears the Hoops.
