Don’t know if a there is a thread but couldn’t see it. So Big Sutton is out today to reveal he has been in touch with the police due to death threats made to him after rangers defeated us 1-0 at Ibrox last week. Now with this latest threat and numerous threats to Neil Lennon along with Paddy McCourt, Nial McGinn, QC Paul McBride and Politician Trish Godman, all targeted for having links with Celtic or a public figure who follows the hoops.
This has got to the stage of pure negligence and lack of interest overall in what these morons are trying to achieve. Which for me seems to be fear and worry and just pure blind bigotry. And don’t listen to those outlets/people try and convince you it’s just a few wee neds trying to act big. It’s beyond that because it is grown men with families who send this message of hate along with bombs and nails through the post. This is a bigger problem than Scotland wantS to accept. When teams up and down the country dance and sing glorifying paedophilia as if it was exclusive to the Catholic Church and Celtic F.C.
Are the police worried about coming down hard on bigotry because it suits them if Celtic fans are in the mix? They want to even up on these unsavoury episodes but when Celtic fans don’t send these continuous threats or vile chants then nothing can be done. For me the silence from the SNP is the biggest problem whilst they are trying to promote a strong inclusive Scotland that can run its own affairs. How does the SNP plan to do that when they can’t address religious bigotry and race hate crimes where being Irish and connections to Celtic make you fair game. Even the housewives with the tired line of ‘he brings it on himself.’ The same ones who would be horrified at being labelled intolerant because they donate to children in Need every year. The higher up society’s ladder you go in Scotland then the bigger the bag of hatred gets. As for Sutton he is outspoken but he doesn’t miss Celtic out in his criticism. He is a pundit and a big promoter of Scottish football. His on screen chemistry with Craiggan keeps it fresh and funny and relevant to those watching. Nearly pantomime but to a dangerous few this will not be tolerated from the * *. Scotland your silence is deafening.

Sutton probably received threats in dms for ages but has decided to report it to take away the lime light from refs and Beaton who are trying to sweep the morelos incidents under the carpet
