    No, it's so it can look to the hordes like they got the better of us when he inevitably signs for them. It'll be "Celtic were after him but we got him, he's one of ours and knocked them back". The usual pish to try and make them feel in some way relevant when we were never interested in the first place.

    He'll probably be a decent scorer against pish sides but against any decent defence he'll get shown up, rather have Johnston or Aitchison as back up.

    I know, it depends on the attitude of the player and how professional they are. To me he looks like a signing to spite Rangers.
    Apparently the cost is 500k in January or 350k if they get him loaned back for the season. His salary would be fairly low for a Celtic player so it could be a worthy risk but it is the championship. Dobbie has knocked in 29 in 24 this season (1 more than Shankland) wouldn't sign the old *.

    That's not true. There's far more average hun-supporting players than world class ones.

    He's 23, recently binned by Aberdeen and has a touch like Bing Crosby. He's no Kenny Dalglish. He's not even a Kenny Miller.
