I know that, what I’m saying is we won’t be so accomodating in the future, you do realise that when you be a * to a club they usually be a * back?

Really? Taking a player off of us for a friendly, for our biggest game of the season, while we’re footing the bill? Sounds cunty too me.

As it is, we’ve let him go and play for Australia when he’s not been fully fit, to help Australia. Usually misses the following game for us because of his fitness issues. We do it a * of a lot for them.

I can’t see that continuing. Do you thik that’s fair?

I was feeling down, because I have no money left and still no work visa and I'm stuck here spending Christmas eve at my mum's FFS; but this thread tonight almost makes it worth it. ;)

Sakeeeee, that’s part and parcel with having international players at your club. Should there be financial compensation like the WC? Sure, 100%

It’s the warm up game/camp before the Asian Cup.
Clearly a big deal for Arnold to want them in camp

Yes and part and parcel of football players is managing their schedule and fitness. We’ve sacrificed quite a lot to accomodate Australia. All I’m saying is we’ll most likely stop doing that now, so my question again is, do you not find that fair?

Mate, I'll be serious for a minute (though I don't really want to :giggle1:). I think his point is that we thought we'd built a relationship of mutual respect and trust, but that if your coach is going to insist on the letter of FIFA rules, we might consider doing the same in future. It's a fair point actually. We do lose an effective Tom Rogic for longer than that 15 days anyway when we let you take him half fit, because he's completely off the pace for a couple of games when he comes back.

It is what it is, should celtic have priority because they pay his wages?
GA has come out more than once in the media in the last couple days explaining is actions and decisions, explained he does want a fair trusting relationship with Rodgers...even went as far as apologizing to fans of both us and Hibs.

I said earlier, I’d like to see nothing more than Tam skelping those *, we will be fine without him.. however IMO I think GA has given enough clarity.

Yes, he has. And so will we in the future, we will act in our own interests just like Australia have done.

@Random Review got if spot on.

And of course the club that pays his wages should get priority :56: imagine turning up at your job and saying you can’t work for the next 3 weeks because you’re volunteering :56:

would be a shame if it did turn into a bit of who has the bigger * between Arnold and Rodgers.

I think Australia has every right to in this situation
