    100% Broony will start mate.

It’s not really pushing McGregor ‘out of position’ either. 9 weeks ago * were saying we were taking him out his position for the one he’s in just noe.

McGregor will do what he does mate, no matter the position on the pitch.

He is really adaptable, however he is better in that central ‘quarterback’ role and moving him from that position makes us less effective, 100% mate..:giggle1:

I’ve seen people say that every time he’s cemented a position down in the team mate.

The only thing McGregor needs is to be facing goal. Rodgers said it best, the o ly problem with playing McGregor in a certain position is because he’s not in the other one.

Nah mate, for me now if he’s played anywhere else than where he’s playing currently he’s being played out of position. He will be effective in that position as good players can adapt but not as effective for the team as he is now. If I was BR I wouldn’t move him at the moment, I’d give Sinclair a last chance on the left or maybe Morgan there and Ntcham in for Christie..

However, Broonie coming back in doesn’t weaken us it just gives us a more controlling ethos in possession but with less intensity. He’s a great option to bring in and it will be interesting to see how plays it.

Like I said mate, how many times have people said that about McGregor in different positions?

Aye maybe mate, but we are playing the best we’ve played since the start of BRs reign and big part of this has been due to McGregor dictating the tempo from deep. There’s no doubt for me that’s his best position.. I realise Christie pressing the game in front of him has been massive and the form of Forrest and his link up play with Rogic have also been huge too. Not to mention having a class CB in Benkovic, all factors in our upturn in form.

McGregor is our CM midfield maestro now and for the next ten years hopefully..

We need either Brown on Ntcham in there to give us that combative edge in the midfield, that bit of dig and physicality. Both are class players but Mcgregor must play. Mcgregor and Ntcham is the long term middle two for me. Christie and Rogic vying for the 10 role.

Ntcham is incredibly talented; but I haven't seen enough from him tactically and in terms of effort and attitude to want to build our team around him for the next 6 or 7 years.
Not saying he can't or he won't step up and fulfill his potential, fairly obviously I hope he does; I just don't think we should be buiding our team for the future around an assumption that he will.

As soon as I saw the starting line-up with both Brown and Ntcham, I feared the worst.

It really is no coincidence that when they've played together, we've hardly scored a goal. And that when they've been out, we've looked so dangerous and been full of goals.

Now that Chrisite is out, one will have to play, but both cannot.
