Worst Raw of all time this week? I've watched hundreds of these episodes and it's absolutely up there with the very worst.

An hour of screen-time dedicated to Baron Corbin, that Sasha/Bayley answering a fake fan question (complete with to-the-letter WWE verbiage from all involved, even the fake fan), and AOP beating Roode/Gable because Drake Maverick distracted Bobby Roode by * on his robe.

Worst ever for me.

 

Dynamite kid dying is sad, but I feel conflicted by the tributes he gets.

I know it's harsh and controversial to speak ill of the dead but as great as and as pioneering his wrestling might be, stories and accounts of him as a person suggest he was bitter wife beating * and was hardly loved because of it.

 

Went to see Something to Wrestle with Bruce Prichard and Conrad Thompson tonight, it was class. More R-rated version of the podcast, standing room only crowd as well.

Your probably a similar age to me mate. Mean gene with hogan, savage, warrior, andre, jake and the rest of that era!

I have went on about it loads on here but check out OSW Reviews on YouTube. 3 Irish boys cover old and some new wrestling. It's excellent and mean Gene features all the time. Funny seeing him trying not to burst out laughing at some of the outrageous promos. Sad to hear about him.

 

Very sad news about Mean Gene. So many from that era have passed away in recent years. Quite scary thinking about it because it was really THAT long ago.

 

KUSHIDA has confirmed his departure from New Japan at the end of the month, probably on his way to WWE.
