Was about to post this myself. I remember being at that game and he was almost unplayable. Genuinely one of the best performances for that role I have seen live at a stadium - never lost the ball. That was when he was 'the next one to go down south'...how times change. Still, be good to have the big man back after his injury.

People underestimate how good that first Deila team was and that he actually improved a lot of players that were already there - Bitton being one of them.

Georgios Samaras v Huns at Ibrox. Scored 2 and was brilliant throughout the entire match.

Larsson hattrick v kilmarnock - league cup final 2001 (on another level to everyone on the park)
Moravcik Vs Rangers - 5-1 at celtic park ( his 1st old frim game - mindblowing indication of the magic that was to follow)
Mark Viduka Vs Rangers 1999 - collosal performance from the big man
Jorge Cadete - entire season 1996-1997

not any particular game but the amount of times Paul McStay grabbed a game and drove Celtic on was inspiring .

Maybe a wee bit tongue in cheek , but I remember that Stevie Fulton was the MOTM in Packie Bonnar's testimonial game V R.O.Ireland . He was really good , and there were some more than decent players on show that day .

Anthony Stokes at Rugby Park when he scored two cracking goals after we had gone 3-0 down. We ended up getting a point out of it which arguably saved Neil Lennons job.

He definitely saved Lennon’s job that day.

Callum McGregor last night. Thought he delivered an absolute masterclass in the holding role.

Christie will get the headlines for his performance after bursting on to the scene recently but McGregor was phenomenal.

Absolute baller and will go down as a Celtic legend when all is said and done.

    Forrest last night as well.

He’s had plenty of great performances against good opposition Europe but last night was up there with his best against a top Bundesliga side.

He’s so hard to get the ball off the way he goes in and out. Still think is that weird running style he has and he’s just used it and turned it into an art form :giggle1:

Forrest is so good in Europe. Genuinely think he could be playing at a top half premier league team.

I thought the weekends game against Hearts was his best performance domestically and aye that was his best game in Europe back to back as well :57:
