    Brown Ntcham
    Forrest Rogic McGregor
    Edouard
I've chosen Gordon only because we haven't seen enough of Bain, though weirdly I feel instantly more confident when he's in goal with no reason to quantify it. But Gordon because when it's mattered he's pulled off worldies.

And I've chosen Ntcham because when he's on it he's unplayable.

Broony because I'm not ready to concede that we're stronger without him. Not having it.

    It's hard. I'm glad I'm not Brendan.

    Everyone has their own opinion.

Dont think I would put Brown in mine either for the record.

Brown's probably our midfielder defensively, so for that reason he's an asset.

    On current form*, I'd go:

    Gordon
    Lustig Ajer Benkovic KT
    Broony McGregor
    Forrest Rogic Sinclair
    Edouard

    * with the exception of Boyata, who I obviously left out of our best side for other reasons.

    Gordon
    Gamboa Ajer Boyata Benkovic KT
    Ntcham McGregor
    Rogic Forrest
    Edouard

I'm going down with the Gamboa ship. Domestically we can happily swap a CB for another attacking midfielder.

For me one of the biggest changes in the last few weeks domestically has been that we’ve moved from a pretty rigid 4-2-3-1 to a 4-3-3/4-1-4-1.

In effect we’ve inverted the triangle in central midfield and gone from two players sitting screening (Brown and Ntcham) and rarely breaking the lines, with one attacking midfielder (Rogic) to one sitting (McGregor) behind two forward thinking midfielders (Christie and Rogic). Simply put, it commits another player to the attacking third and frees him up to break the lines, link play and support the striker (which Christie is excelling at). It has led to far more free flowing attacking football, but perhaps just as importantly it has made it far more difficult for teams to man mark Rogic and lets him play with the game in front of him rather than with his back to goal.

Of course McGregor has excelled with his distribution in a deeper role, but he’s equally capable of playing as one of the two more offensive options.

Brown and Ntcham offer a great base in matches where the midfield is a battle and getting on top is key (e.g. in Europe and against Sevco), but in my opinion there’s absolutely no need to play them both together in other domestic games.

Our flexibility and ability to adapt to different games makes it difficult to therefore pick a “best” eleven in my opinion.

This is it imo. Although I rate Bain higher than Gordon I know he'll never get picked ahead of him for big games.

Move Brown and McGregor Brown at LM would kill our playing style.
