Nice one, looking forward to it.

Not as good as the wall? He plays in front of the same big screen as he done in the wall tour I’m sure? Dunno what people expect in all honesty.

What time did it start and run to? Doors open at 6:30pm but show doesn’t start till 8pm and people saying it runs to 11pm.

We got in at 8 and there was a bit of a queue getting in.Place didn't fill up till around half past so think they waited till then to start the show. Was about 11 it finished.

Wee bit of advice if you need to go to the bar or toilet do it during a song you're not keen on.spent 20 mins waiting for a * then half an hour at bar during the break.

Played 3-4 of his own tunes but rest were 90% all the old classics.Thought it was a great selection myself.

Tbh I didn’t think his solo stuff quite slotted into the show.

Thought the first hour was pretty flat in all honesty, not sure if was the venue/atmosphere or something, it picked up after the intermission though and the animals section was probably the best part of the show as it had more or a sense of occasion about it and it’s nice seeing a Floyd member perform tracks you don’t usually see and animals being my favourite album maybe had something to do with it.

Overall it was a good show, was trying my hardest to not compare it to the wall which I seen at the o2 in London with Waters and Gilmour as that had such importance on it and it was on a grander scale.

Some of the theatrics were a bit meh and Roger Waters doing Wish You Were Here? Still trying to process that one this morning :giggle1:

The lead guitarist/ Gilmour stand in was really impressive that guy can play a * guitar.

So aye good show after it’s all said and done.

I was at a stunning gig on Saturday at the Barrowlands. Support was a band called King King. A blues band, superb set. The headliners were Europe. I don't like the song 'Final Countdown' but they're other stuff is really good. They split in the 90's and got back together inthe 2000's. Since then they've had 6 albums out, every one superb. They put on an amazing show, and I even stayed 'til the end to hear THAT song. Brilliant night all round.

Went to see Halestorm at the Academy last night. What a show. Lzzy Hale has one of the best female rock voices on the planet. (and that is how you spell her first name,)

20 years ago, * me!! 20 years ago in August there I saw Green Day at Barrowlands on the Nimrod tour.

One of the best nights ever. Soaked with sweat jumping about like an idiot. Changed my hairstyle the next day and wore a plectrum round my neck for months afterwards. Learned the whole album on my guitar and Dookie too. Many nights thrashing out the chords along to the cds.

Man, I miss those days before American Idiot came along and everyone else started liking them.

My son liked Green Day, seen them many times, and went to see them on the 'American Idiot' tour and
next day didn't like them. He says they were a bit preachy about politics etc. My daughter and I seen them a few years later on the '21st Century Breakdown' tour. Not a political comment in sight, just good rock music. What a show they played that night.

I saw them twice on their American Idiot tour and they only made a couple of political comments, and they were barely outlandish at all. Didn’t ruin the show for me, they were outstanding.

Just snapped up a ticket for Greta Van Fleet at the Academy next March. I know they're Led Zepplin knock-offs, but they're *' brilliant.

I was at the 02 Academy last night for the sensational BLACKBERRY SMOKE. What a show. I've been to a good few gigs this year, and last night was the show of the year. Fukin' brilliant.
