    Aye mate, Charlie Tully

Wasn’t it he who did the somersault into the net with the ball between his feet too?

Lubo could hit a 2 pence piece at pace from 50 yards with a deadball. With both feet.

Massimo Donati could do that with his right.

Just don’t ask him to try it 2 yards away :56:

Bertie was the original Lubo, he also took corners with both feet from either side.

We actually scored a lot of goals from Brown taking corners, watch the season review of the 2007/08 season again we scored like 5 goals from Browns delivery

The thing with Brown is he’ll do as he’s told and he’ll practice it when it comes to anything, including set pieces. Might be a shout to try him again tbh because although he sits back and mops up, as his pace will decline he’d be better further up the park.

A lot of our set pieces now are lazy and aimless. The stats for this and last season are disgusting, no exaggeration. The crowd is cheering corners for no reason because we don’t score from them.

Playing through ankle injuries that season and Mowbray’s took Brown’s technique a while to recover from, people forgot how good his range of passing and technique could be.

Always say you know when Brown’s injured when he consistently starts misplacing passes. It’s the first thing that leaves him every time.
