Inverness youngster Ryan Christie has emerged as a transfer target for Celtic. (Scottish Sun)

Have we ever been linked with so many Scottish players? :56:

I actually quite like him. I think his level might be more United or Aberdeen but he's only 19.

He has a bit of pace but he's definitely unpolished. I'd've preferred Gauld.

We would ruin his career. Buy him and never see him in the first team, no thanks.

    Think he's better than McGregor.

Can't see him starting yet though so doubt he's want to come. Would be happy if we loaned him back to ICT for the season.

Only reason we are being linked with every decent scottish youngster under the sun is down to Deila talking about wanting more homegrown talent. I'd take all these rumours with a pinch of salt as per.

Talk of now that Dembele is away it will give Christie a chance... I don't see him as a striker.

It's quite mental even mentioning his name in the same sentence as Dembele. Not only because of the difference in quality, Dembele is so obviously a striker but Christie seems more of a midfield disrupter and link to the attack.

I really like Christie and it would be good to see him doing well but I have to say I sighed when it looked like he dived. I rip into other teams' players when they dive, it's even more out of order a player pulling on the Hoops and messing with the dark arts.

Mind you, every one makes mistakes so hopefully someone had a word and he won't do it again.

He is a very good player but I think Brendan is giving him an excellent chance to see if he can step up to first team back up status.

Maybe he could play false 9? He's got so much energy and potentially good up front. Not as a striker though, just can't picture him in that role. Definitely picture more assists than goals.
