Sooner he's gone the better, but i don't think he's personally at fault for us going out. He didn't pull his weight which is shameful. I'd imagine even the French guys will give him the cold shoulder treatment. He's officially the most hated man at Celtic Park which will be a very lonely experience for him. Now he has to face the music from the first team's reaction and players will be lining up to smash him before he goes. I think i'd have him on a plane today and take whatever we can get, but what we think doesn't matter, it's a problem at board level.

People need to realise that Celtic did NOT want Boyata earlier in 2018. He was NOT offered a new contract. Compper was brought in to replace him. That's the crux of the matter. He's right to look for a pay rise. The same people on here having a go at him are the same people who said he was NO good as a player.

Okay, Celtic probably have * him about with a new contract because that's what we do. But, he's allegedly taken it to the next level by faking or embellishing an injury to not play and force a move.

It's what we should do, but last week (when there was even more time available) Rodgers said there "isn't time" to find a Boyata replacement.

We'll sell him and bring in a youth player from the Premier League on loan as a replacement is my guess.
