    Don't be daft, I appreciate the apology but there's no need. Having read people's reasons I can understand why they thought that but glad it's sorted out :)

    The fact its this stage of the window and we’ve signed Izaguirre, enquired about Denayer and waiting to see what happens with Roberts tells me our scouting system is a * riot.

    Something needs seriously done about our recruitment. And questions need asked of Rodgers/Congerton.

    Do we even have a scouting network since John park got the road or do we solely rely on Peter lawwel son to get us players from man city .17 days to go

    Do we always need a load of new defenders, I am not saying don't get any in but I often wonder if it is really about how we organise ourselves. Look at the amount of teams that defend deep on us and when you look at the top 5 leagues the bottom teams organise their defence against the top teams and don't get a thumping and sometimes get points. Would a really good defence do well if you don't organise the defence well?

    We are two weeks away from the transfer deadline. We have only three cbs willing to play in the squad, and two of them arent fit for Aberdeen. There are no rumours, no talk, the manager doesn't comment on that. There are very few occasions when we sign someone totally out of surprise. Usually the talk is on a few weeks before. I consider it almost impossible that we will sign a CB on time and therefore we will play the entire season with the crap we got, which could put even the league, nevermind the european football, in jeopardy.

    But Lawwell is a financial genius and we are nothing without him

    tbf since Brendan came in we have kept most our targets in house until they have been due to arrive for a medical unless the selling club are leaking things, deals are done over a length of time but it is very quiet, I feel we will go into the first half of the season with what we have in terms of incomings, Arzani just waiting on Visa being approved and that will be it but we will probably shift a few on like Allan, Chrtistie, Benyu, Miller and Ralston all on loan.

    This happens every year now, it's a case of waiting to see what competition we qualify and then seeing what we do.

    I'm highly confident domestically, but the gap for me has shortened far more than it should've and that centre of defence has contributed mostly to that gap closing.

    If it did go totally pear-shaped this final window could break the camels back especially with us wanting to make sure we get 10.

    Board will be praying we qualify then the excuse will be "see we don't need anyone" if we don't qualify, "we can't afford it"

    Hopefully deals are in the pipeline for some decent players, ones that aren't on the transfer thread as I'm sick to death of seeing those names aw the time. Apart from Paddy ofcourse ..

    Wednesday 15th August

    Fans: we told you we needed signings!!!!!

    Tight * board: we won’t be able to attract that quality of player without CL football, we have made an offer to bring back Efe Ambrose though you’ll just have to wait until deadline day for that! And the news of the Australian boy is he told us to get to *

    * the board!!!!!!
