Nah, no thanks. Im happy with our goalie. He had a few good seasons in his whole career, Ghord is far better over the course. Theres only a few years between them too.

I would have him back now. Mark Hughes has said in an interview that he is not in his plans and will have to find a new club.

He'd get the same stick leveled at him that Gordon gets in regard to kicking

Would love him back for any sort of decent potential fee.

They'll probably want 12 for him though scaled off of Danny Ward. English market is utterly *.

He'll fit in with the rest of the back line then, perfect.

The quote I read the other week was a £20m sale.

Signed for £12m at his peak, now worth £20m at his lowest. Only in England.

Noticed they didn't even play him in league cup and Gunn is being selected for bench too, so mad he is still there and not moved on. I'd love us to get him in, even on a loan.

We need better than forster imo. I loved the guy when he was here but all we'd be doing by bringing him back is getting a younger gordon, exact same faults

I'd take him back 100%. Gone off the boil but the fact remains he has only ever been a good keeper under Woods' tutelage bar a 12 month good spell with Southampton. Get him back.

CELTIC will target Fraser Forster for an emotional return to Paradise after losing crocked Scott Bain.

SunSport understands Neil Lennon, who is also keen on Bournemouth’s Jordon Ibe, will inquire about a reunion with ex-Hoops No1 Forster who is out of favour at Southampton.

Bain will be out for two months after picking up a hand injury in the shock 4-3 defeat to Cluj on Tuesday night which dumped Celts out of the Champions League.

It’s understood Bain, 27, has damaged a ligament in his hand.

He will undergo specialist tests in England to determine the length of his absence. If Celts’ worst fears are confirmed, Bain could be out until October.

Craig Gordon is set to start Saturday's Betfred Cup tie against Dunfermline.

But Lennon is in the market for a keeper before the transfer window closes on September 2 and Forster is on his radar.

Forster, 31, enjoyed enormous success under Lennon, and played over 100 games for Celts before his £10million move to Saints five years ago.

He won six England caps and impressed in the Premier League, but is now behind Angus Gunn and Alex McCarthy at St Mary’s.

Bring him home. He had 4 great seasons for us and 3 and a half great seasons for Southampton including 6 caps for England. The guys only just turned 31. Could even get him on loan

Forster was always a very dodgy keeper and I wasn't happy personally whe we signed him after the original loan deal. Woods worked wonders on him. I'd be more than happy to take him back.

Best goalie we've had in my life time, but injuries have ruined him.
