I got the score right im afraid if you look at my earlier post and this is what happens when you gamble and dont bring players in and now we could lose 40 million because the board wont spend the money we have got in the bank .
theres no ambition with these * on the board and just happy to take our money and wouldnt blame rogers walking away at the end of the season .

    Summed up in a nutshell.

We had everything handed to us on a plate for this game. We were given every conceivable advantage.

In fact if it wasn’t for the red card, I think they would’ve done us in that second half. So could’ve been worse I suppose.

That's a good point...going to have to go in guns blazing in Athens. If you punch them in the nose early on with a quick away goal, it might rattle them, as they're going to be trying their best to close things down. It's going to be a fascinating game, but I feel good about going through.

Always go back to what lawwell said a few years back. "Every penny made from player sales will be reinvested into the squad" liar!!!!!!

For all the hard work we do in trying to get a goal undone by * defending and * goalkeeping. It wouldn't be so infuriating but it's the same * year after year.Gordon flapping that shot and it was straight at him ,need two cb's for * knows how many years .when it comes down to it not enough quality in attack either Tierney and ntcham played well

Game went how I feared it would. Still disappointing. I've said it before, we've got the makings of a good team but we're not there yet. We lack a bit of magic against teams who sit in, and holy * what a difference a good right back would make to this side.

CB and RB urgently needed, yet we all knew this long before tonight's game.

I'm not even bothered about missing out on McGinn, just sign a couple of good, experienced defenders.

Just remembered Rosenborg 0-0. :56: Silly me, but look how that panned out, we dominated the game over there and went through. :celt_2:

AEK’s first competitive game so far. Just wow. Based on that performance, we simply don’t deserve to compete in the group stages.

Nothing short of an outstanding performance next week will correct that bollocks on display tonight.

Fingers crossed the team and the manager sort this tie out. Progression and develooment as a team and club are resting on it.

In Brendan's reign, Anderlecth away. But they were in turmoil with their manager being sacked.

If you wanted to stretch it you could say Rosenbourg last year as well. They probably are our level now.

Loving the optimism, even if there’s no realism in there.
We’re gonna need to score like 2 or 3 over there at least, and hope to * our defence holds out.

I think it’s more frustrating as we were the better side. Hopefully we can improve our final ball and create better chances next week.

    Gutted !!!!
If Gamboa isn't injured then the desicion to play lustig in front of him is terrible.
The two young boys at CB shouldn't be starting together in games of this magnitude.

I dread to think where brendans head will be if we don't qualify after not being backed.
The blame lies with the board !!!! * * ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh !!!!

It was a similar goal to the Rosenberg goal ,not picked up the run ,poss a midfield problem rather than defence ,but we also had the chance to stop the cross ,it's gonna take our best game to stay in this comp now ,not beyond us ,I'd still say both teams are equal and its an all or nothing game ,it's a cup final .
