Nas’ new album isn’t doing anything for me. Sounds dated as *.

 

Had to skim through it, . I knew what to expect though.
Not sure what you mean by dated, but i instantly disliked it. 'Nasir' youd think he would go back to his roots and having the illest flow to ever grace the earth but sounds like just any emcee to me. He still had it ten years ago, and summer on smash type tunes i would still give him credit for, but he sounds like jay z at the moment.
Ive not got a strong opinion on the album though as i say just skimmed thru but i wont get too happy unless he comes with those ill raps.

 

I mean it just sounded like it had all been done before, his raps sounded dated and Kanyes production was *.

I thought with it being Nas biggest release in years it would have been a groundbreaking album, but we’ve heard it all before.

 

Had that album when I was about 9

 

So many memories, i copped the cassette off this kid at school, swapped for some pogs or something. He wrapped it up like a christmas present.
Alot of songs on there are timeless, like cartman singing sail away. Its actually a classic album imo.

 

So much respect to mic righteous, sometimes you are forced to open up about the demons which plague your thoughts, its not a bad thing. Keep your head up brother.
