National Team That Were Threatened

Need some help- Watched a football documentary ages ago, and one story was about a National team that played in a competition, cant remember if it was the World Cup or the Euros, and they effectively lay down during their 2nd game and got beaten by a large margin. After which their government threatened that if they lost their final game by a certain amount of goals, they wouldnt be allowed back in their country? or that their families lives would be put a risk? Anyone remember the team / competition?

I think you are probably talking about what was reported about North Korea when they got to the WC.( though whether it happened or no I don't know. ).I also seem to have vague memories about a member of the Saudi Royal family going in and slapping players about after a game in the 90's ( though again whether it actually happened I don't know.)
