Everyone watch the first Glasgow Derby of the season as if by some major fluke they make the EL playoff round or we have to play in it the game will be on the Sunday 2nd September 2018.

CELTIC’S opening day Scottish Premiership fixture against Livingston has been confirmed for Saturday, August 4 (KO: 3pm).

The champions will raise the league flag at Paradise prior to the game against the league new boys in celebration of having won their seventh title in a row last season.

This fixture will not be televised live, so the date and time will remain the same as previously announced when the 2018/19 Premiership fixtures were released.

It will be the first league game between Celtic and Livingston since the sides met in March 2006, when the Hoops won 2-0.

 

Wonder why this is happening always been shown maybe we refused to move it not sure do we have a euro game the week after?

Not necessarily, the * made us play them on a Saturday when just back from playing Boavista on the Thursday.

 

it was the sunday we played them mate, we didn't get back from Boavista to the Friday morning.

 

CL and EL play offs that week, but I'm almost sure the first derby game of the last two seasons has been Saturday midday
