Lecs explained it a lot better than you Eddie tbf :56:

But aye that allays some of my concerns if that's how it panned out. I would have had far more of a problem with it if the website just sent every * DNA to the FBI for them to * about with :50:

Should read the book 'I'll be Gone in The Dark' Michelle McNamara was working on it before her death, trying to unearth who the killer was. It was her who coined the term Golden State Killer as she thought it would bring more attention to the case rather than the 'East Area Rapist' which is what the case was called before.

Aye the Golden State killer is a bit snappier than the East Area Rapist.

Think the fans would buy more shirts with 'Golden State Killer' on the back.

I havent read or heard anything about it other than reading through this but I have to imagine he maybe carried a gun or two although never used them but maybe would have if he ever needed to to escape but just never had to.

For those who are in love.....
He deffo carried a gun. He shot a guy who caught him running about the garden out the back and chased him in to a dead end..

I haven't heard him going in and sticking people up straight away. He seemed a pouncer and liked the element of surprise..

Read or listen to the story of the lassies family house he went to. He knew they were going out and the young lassie would be there alone. Snuck I'm through a window, made it look like she jumped out the window on a date she was having that night that he knew about......took her away down by a bridge where she had to stand and wait well out the way so he could get her there as he knew people would be back at the house soon..

Maybe the one's that were all killed, tried to fight back. Who knows..

Watched the first episode last night.

It's very similar to the "It's not over".

Only difference of note comparing the first episodes anyway is there is are more people interviewed who were about or lived in areas where the killer operated. Not necessarily victims or police officers who worked on the case but just your average bloke who shares their memories of hearing it and people buying guns and extra locks and dogs etc.

Obviously the next few episodes could be different but I'm sure it's before they arrested DeAngelo.

    Great podcast.

I really like Paul Holes, very smart guy and bang on with what he says.

I really hope this is the Golden State Killer and we get a big interview with him. Similar to Richard Kuklinski or however you spell it.
