    I'll be worried if it is.

    We need more experience in there. To rely on Hendry would be silly, IMO.

    Defence should be the priority this summer, but then again with Roberts/Dembele/Armstrong maybe all leaving we will be light there, as well. Big summer.

    Let’s stop buying posh Scottish players. If we want to progress in Europe we need th addition of quality. Yeah by all means bring in these projects, but you need experience and quality to mentor and aid there development. John Kennedy is clearly not doing a good job with our existing defenders. Also can anyone see us getting quality

    John Kennedy isn’t, and never has been exclusively our defensive coach, and even if he was, it’s up to the fecking manager to have the final say/change anything he’s not happy about.
    It’s bizarre that Kennedy gets the blame for this, it was the same under Deila.
    Deila was a centre half himself, and coached the players, along with John Collins and John Kennedy.
    Currently we have Kolo Toure who was a world class centre half taking some sessions, and Chris Davies who was also a central defender.
    In my opinion we simply have guys like Boyata who don’t have the character, bottle, bravery, and ability to do it consistently at a big club under pressure.
    Rodgers also takes risks/plays a high line and if your defence is average at best, then it’s not a great combination.
    He did the same at Liverpool, I just don’t think he has a great eye for a defender.
    I actually thought it was quite ironic that when he chose his all time favourite Celtic team last week that he had big Roy Aitken and Paul Elliot as his 2 centre halfs. He even gave a nod to Big Mick McCarthy also, these are guys that don’t need coaching, they probably made about 1 mistake a season each. They were proper old school, real men. They are the type Rodgers never buys though.
    In the last few years we’ve had guys like Ambrose, and now Lustig, Boyata, Siminovic, potentiality Hendry, who are going to be making mistakes every single game they play.
    We need a first choice right back, with Ralston as back up, and a left sided centre half.
    We need them before the Champions League qualifiers.

    Would love to test Liverpools resolve with Harry Wilson. Has 7 goals in 11 games for Hull playing LW or RW.

    He also had 10 goals in 12 games for Liverpool under 23s before his loan deal to Hull.

    Last season at under 23 level he had 12 goals in 18 games.

    Hes seeems to be such an effective goal scorer.


    Edit: Seens we asked Liverpool about him last summer on either a permanent deal or loan and they rebuffed it. Hopefully go back in.
