Liverpool's group was actually quite easy as well, Sevilla, Spartak and Maribor. Roma had Chelsea, Atletico, and Qarabag.

Stats are unreal. Shame he's an utter *.

Can't stand him that much that if it comes down to a Real v Liverpool final, I'll be backing the English mob :88:

Outrageous stats, if the * could show a bit of humility on the pitch I’d like him more. Think he’s a decent guy off the pitch just ruins it by acting like a spoilt child on it.

I’m starting to become conflicted on who’s better out of him and Messi and thats some going at his age. Really thought he was done at Madrid earlier this season.

Be interesting to see how Messi changes his style when he gets on a bit. Think it has been to Ronaldo's benefit the change in role he's had at Real the last few seasons. The way Barcelona play, I don't think Messi will keep up with him now in terms of European goals.

Aye unless Messi adapts his game like Ronaldo and just becomes an all out goal machine he’ll struggle to catch him. But then that takes away what makes Messi that bit better imo, he’s the best at every other aspect on the pitch for me and of course he’s humble on and off it. But it’s hard to deny Cristiano an argument for best about just now.

*Had to edit that there didn’t feel comfortable with it saying best ever:56:

    That's mental man!

Three in a row and five all up if Madrid win this year, one away from equaling Francisco Gento's record 6. Could see him matching it, bettering will be tough though.

There’s been a refreshing element to the CL this season, with Liverpool and Roma qualifying, few cracking games along the way. I’ve usually lost interest by now.

Liverpool and City have been brilliant all season, they've made the Champions League and the Prem enjoyable for a change. Normally it's only Barca that spikes neutral interest. For me anyway.

Edit: well I'll be *, it was Xavi who called us anti-football. Always held it against Messi.
