Sinclair just collected the top goal scorer award and folk want to punt him, madness.
He's not hit the heights of last season but only a handful of players have.
He'll come good again.

 

Imagine being able to play so pish you still collect top scorer award what a player. Hes just had the "player of the year" curse. Izzy, mulgrew etc had the same. Come next season he'll be smashing teams all over again.

What a player.

 

Smacks of arrogance and spoiled * looking to sell someone who has contributed 49 goals in 100 games, might not be at full tilt this season but so many havent and still dont get as hard a time!

 

Forrest is on a similar goal tally to Sinclair and is regarded as having one of his best ever seasons. Sinclair hasn't hit the same heights as last year but over the course of this season he has made a valuable contribution to our success. Wanting him sold is short sighted.

 

I think that's the most frustrating thing, he's head and shoulders above this league in terms of quality but has lost the ball and slowed play down a lot this season. He still gets the goals and assists as he's that good but his use of the ball this year is poor (as bizarre as that sounds)

 

He got the goals at the start of the season.

I’m sure he has something like 2 goals in his last 15-ish games.

 

Wow, really poor form.

Thing is, Brendan has played him through it and it didn't improve, now he's been dropped and put back in as a sub and he's still not improved. * knows what's happening with him.

 

Wonder how many of those 15 appearances were as a sub.

I like Sinclair and the squad generally is pretty strong domestically but he's won the top goalscorer for Celtic this season, don't they stats reflect a lot on the rest of the attackers at the club as well?

 

Of course, but that doesn’t “excuse” Sinclair’s form for the past 4 or 5 months.

 

100%, he'll come good again though. he's too good a player not to

Yeah. Hopefully he hits some form in the last few games, but there's no getting around the fact that he's been dire for months.
