[Link] Thomas Isherwood

The Cuntsman has us linked with Bayern Munich B team central defender Thomas Isherwood, according to reports in Germany we'v scouted him a few times!

We need central defenders however i know next to * all about this *, hopefully he actually exists and plays if we sign him, unlike his fellow countryman Hun Stomper Compper who was last seen at Derk B's house sniffing lines of dobber.

No surprise we've been linked to a couple of player's lately playing in or with link's to Germany..

Dunno about the German league! Did we not look at a guy called Compper from the German league thought we actually signed him but must have been mistaken...

 

His contract is up end of June with Bayern, 6 foot 5 and left footed. To be honest with Ajer and Hendry we should be looking for a good experienced centre half who is not injury prone and younger than 30.

I agree. On the other hand, Hendry, Ajer and Isherwood could be our back three for years to come. There’s a nice balance there.

 

Scandinavians tend to adapt well to life at Celtic, as well.

 

That is true, only thing that worries me he is 20 and not played in a first team yet or at least not in years if he played in Sweden.

It’s good to see we are looking into the German market more though, we should be prioritising a good technical right back first off.

 

Don't know how good he is but our current youngsters need experience to learn from, kids learn from an educated teacher not in a group amongst themselves. How would our current midfield be without Broony?

yeh we have probably had a look at him and said no thanks then passed him on.

 

We don't need another young, albeit promising CB. Hendry and Ajer are the future no doubt, we must supplement that with veteran solidity. Another solid CB, to pair with Compper(?), and that should be more than enough CB depth.

 

we dont necessarily need a veteran , i loved bobo as a CB out and out stopper and a real hard nut, but brendan likes football players in defense who can pass and step out from the back, someone young in the van dijk mould athletic and can play would fit us perfectly,

 

A veteran doesn't need to be someone whose 30+. You can have a 25-30 year old player with poise, experience, and ability. That's what we need. We don't need another project.
